So you think you can design a jet engine?
Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, is offering this workshop focused on the leading edge technology of the jet engine. This workshop, run in partnership with Manchester University’s Aerospace Research Institute, offers participants hands-on activities with materials used in the manufacture of jet engines and the opportunity to discuss these technologies with young engineers from Rolls-Royce. The workshop culminates in offering participants the challenge to select a range of different materials to design and test their own virtual jet engine.
